For a special birthday surprise Angelique Runnalls from Willmott Dixon used her new found cake making skills to bake a ‘tasty’ birthday cake for Dave. It’s very impressive and looks almost too good to eat… Come on then Dave, share it around!

last friday we entered a ‘birmingham sound’ competition run by BRMB. we had to listen to a sound clip and identify the sound. we correctly identified it as a train door and won a nice bottle of champagne which we all enjoyed today. thanks BRMB!

a couple of weeks ago chris and dave took the guys at adsynergy out for a christmas meal to celebrate all the hard work put in by everyone in 2009. I can safely say it was the most enjoyable (and comical) night out I’ve had in a very long time. this probably has something to do with all the whisky and red wine consumed on the night! lee was on top drinking form; he tried pretty much every whisky behind the bar! andy discovered what it feels like to have hair again and jen had a hair styling lesson from the boys!

on wednesday 14th december chris spent the day at cookes furniture overseeing the filming of their 2009 winter campaign. we came up with the idea of using a frank sinatra look alike and it has worked beautifully. he does indeed look a lot like frank sinatra!

One of the adsynergy crew; Andy Kendrick has a website that displays a selection of his own artwork. Andy’s work is quite dark and moody but very good!

Below is an example of one of his pictures:

So a couple of weeks ago I got invited to join a group called Rage Against The Machine for Christmas No.1 - a group started by a couple of RATM fans bored of the X Factor domination of the Christmas charts - something I have to admit I agree with - suggesting that people should buy ‘Killing In The Name’ by Rage Against The Machine in an attempt to make that Xmas No.1 instead. So I join the group and got set to buy my copy a little later on.

Now the group is massive, and there are debates all over the place about the RATM vs. XF battle.
Well I’ve downloaded my copy, and here’s why:
- I really don’t like the XF song
- I really do like RATM
They’re the main reasons – and I think they’re damn good – but to get a little more in depth, try these:

PS. After the event I may well blog about why this was an amazing viral marketing campaign, so look out for that!
some of the adsynergy crew have been learning to ski in preparation for the adsynergy ski trip to Val d’isere this friday. click here to check out some more videos of us learning to ski.

chris has been in erdington all day today art directing the filming for cookes’ latest tv campaign. click here to see some stills from the storyboard and check back soon for some behind the scene footage of the filming.
